Jo-Kell Employees Present Pet Oxygen Kits to Area Firehouses

Chesapeake, VA (July 27, 2010) – Employees of Jo-Kell Inc., an electrical distribution and engineering Company, donated twenty oxygen pet masks kits to area firehouses.

What started out as an annual competition between departments at Jo-Kell, grew into a multi-event fundraiser for Animal Rescue of Tidewater. Jo-Kell’s Sales Support Team came up with the idea of raising funds for animal oxygen masks kits for local firehouses to have on hand to assist domestic animals in distress at fire scenes. A few of the kits will even go the FEMA’s search and rescue teams to help dogs that work all over the world.

“Our employees are always looking for ways to help others and even our four legged friends,” said Jo-Kell’s CEO, Suzy Kelly. “This particular fundraising effort has not only helped our local fire departments, but FEMA, an organization that assists others around the world”! Kelly added.
