Founder’s Day Celebration & Chili Cook-Off 2014
Chesapeake, VA and Jacksonville, FL (February 6, 2014) – Jo-Kell family and staff held a Founder’s Day Luncheon on February 6th, honoring Joe Kelly, and celebrated 38 years in business. Continuing the Jo-Kell tradition, both the Chesapeake and Jacksonville locations heated things up with their annual chili cook-off while contestants made their finest chili or best home-made soup in memory of their founder. Prizes were award to first and second place winners in both categories.
“The chili cook-off was one of Joe Kelly’s favorite Jo-Kell events,” says Suzy Kelly, CEO. “This is our way of honoring his memory and sharing his spirit among the dedicated employees at Jo-Kell.”
