Jo-Kell CEO Makes Inside Business’s Power List
Chesapeake, VA (June 18, 2012) – Suzy Kelly, CEO of Jo-Kell Inc., a local electrical distribution and engineering company has made Inside Business’ list of the 75 most influential people in Hampton Roads.
The Annual “Power List” was introduced last year by Inside Business and is compiled of people who meet the following criteria: the ability to have influence over others and reach a desired outcome beneficial and lasting to Hampton Roads. As a CEO of a woman-owned small business, a Chesapeake City Council member and a big supporter of the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and St. Mary’s Home for Disabled Children, Kelly’s qualities certainly meet the criteria.
“I am very appreciative to be recognized for my commitment and support of great organizations like the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and St. Mary’s Home for Disabled Children” said Jo-Kell CEO Suzy Kelly. “It is an honor to be included on such a prestigious list comprised of CEOs, political leaders, business owners and community activists.” Kelly added.
Kelly’s other credits, among many others, include being a member of Gov. Bob McDonnell’s Task Force on State Mandates on Localities, 2011; Chesapeake City Council member, whose term expires in 2014; a member of Gov. McDonnell’s Commission on Government Reform and Restructuring; Virginia Chamber of Commerce board member and executive board member; and vice chair of Chesapeake’s GOP party.
