Jo-Kell Honored by Local Crime Line Organizations Across the Region

(Norfolk, VA) The Greater Hampton Roads Crime Lines recognized Jo-Kell as the “Top Corporation” for 2015 at its recent Top Cop Awards Dinner held in Norfolk.

The Greater Hampton Roads Crimes Lines is made up of Crime Line, Crime Solver and Crime Stoppers programs across the region, funded through donations and managed by volunteers to support local law enforcement by promoting and paying for anonymous tips.

Jo-Kell was recognized for many years of support for Crime Line programs, and for its commitment to first-responders in general with initiatives like “Cookin’ for Cops,” where Jo-Kell provides a 3-day food rest area for first responders at the annual Chesapeake Jubilee. The Crime Lines award also recognized CEO Suzy Kelly’s community involvement with a variety of local non-profit organizations.

Since 2000, programs have gathered together to honor local law enforcement officers, individuals, corporations and organizations that have helped make our community a safer place to live and work.
